P
Is for…Two “P” Paintings
Not
much to say today. I thought I’d let the paintings do the talking and show two
dramatically different styles of art from two dramatically different eras. So
here today, two masters of the sixteenth and the twentieth centuries, of the
traditional and the surreal: Pieter Breugel the Elder and Salvador Dali.

All beautiful works of art. And I'm glad you let the paintings do the talking ... too many words tire the mind and eye (especially this month), so paintings are a beautiful substitute.

An interesting pairing. I love the two side-by-side, for some reason.
ReplyDeleteNice choice to have them speak for themselves. Enjoyed them both and I agree with Susan, they do go together in an odd way. I like the base social presentation of the peasant wedding and how the dali piece makes me think about time passing and how memoires "fold" as time passes.
